surrealism: Popcorn Nude by Philippe Halsman Due to the popularity of this post one week ago, I found another exciting Halsman photo featuring Salvator Dalí. This one, like Dalí Atomicus, was attempted multiple times.  In fact, the first nude model grew tired from jumping, so Halsman made a substitution who eventually got it right. The bread was tossed by an assistant, Dalí threw the popcorn and kicked, the woman leapt, and magic happened.
